My love for yoga stems from my desire to feel and be fully alive and to help others do the same. The lessons I learn and practice on my mat about patience, strength, flexibility, steadiness, discipline, and being present in the moment have become powerful habits that I do my best to incorporate into my everyday life. I truly believe that how you do anything is how you do everything, and yoga gives us the opportunity to practice the qualities we want more of in our lives. Not to mention, yoga just makes your body feel so good! The benefits of yoga are powerful, and I want everybody to know them first hand. My Vinyasa Flow classes are a playful exploration of the student's edge.
I strive to teach strong alignment and from that foundation, I want to inspire my students to find beauty, creativity, and freedom in their movements. I hope to create an encouraging environment where my
students are challenged and walk out of class feeling renewed and balanced. The most rewarding part of being a teacher is watching a student do something they thought was impossible for them! Its such an illuminating experience! I began practicing yoga in college, and received my Yoga Works 200-hour training with Malachi Melville in 2011.

For those new to yoga or in need of a quick refresher course, this weekend introductory course covers the fundamentals of yoga. No experience required!
Next course at the SLO studio.
Evolved from the teachings of T. Krishnamacharya and T.K.V. Desikachar, Viniyoga invites a deepened connection between your movement and your breath.
